Apprenticeship Application Support Fund for young people
The Association of Employment and Learning Providers (AELP) on behalf of the National Apprenticeship Service, is to make £450,000 funding available to help and engage young people aged 16 - 20, to submit successful quality apprenticeship applications. Independent training organisations and FE Colleges are invited to tender bids to run innovative projects and new approaches to support young people and underrepresented groups. The Apprenticeship Application Support Fund (AASF) will fund eight - ten projects; each project must be of £25,000 or above in value.
The AASF Application Forms will be available from 3 September 2012. The deadline for submissions is 1 October 2012. A copy of the AASF Prospectus can be http://www.aelp.org.uk/topics/details/aasf/
