The Response to Redundancy programme can offer you and/or your staff funded advice, guidance and re-training opportunities to help prepare for a new job, a new career or business start-up after redundancy

Response to Redundancy provides:

  • One-to-one advice and guidance where we will discuss your options with you.During the confidential one-to-one session you will receive career guidance and you will formulate a career and job search action plan. The session can be scheduled at your place of work or off-site.
  • Employability skills training including CV writing, interview techniques or job search training.
  • Funded Training to help you prepare for your new job.

If you have identified training or up-skilling in your action plan a grant may be available to assist you with the associated training costs. The training may include assistance with business start-up, change of career or executive career coaching.

  • If you would like to start a business after being made redundant the Response to Redundancy training can cover topics such as:
  • Business planning
  • Business forecasts
  • Using technology for marketing
  • Assessing or developing your marketing plan
  • Identifying your customers.
